@XanderHenderson Do you have a link?

Oh, sorry...
I thought that I had linkified the previous... Oops. Hang on a sec....

Q: How many group isomorphism of Z/3Z x Z/6Z → Z/3Z x Z/6Z are there?

Keito HasegawaI started learning about group theory in my uni and I came across this question How many group isomorphism of Z/3Z x Z/6Z → Z/3Z x Z/6Z are there ? I know that there are 324 homomorphism (363*6) by deciding where (0,1) and (1,0) would go. But I just can not find a way to check how many isomorphis...

And it now has an answer...

@Shaun And so you tried to answer the inappropriate repost of a deleted question?

Yeah, there's no excuse. Sorry.

Q: A locus problem related to circumcenters and conic sections

hbghlyjGiven a point $A$, a circle $O$ and conic section $e$, if $BC$ is a moving chord of the circle $O$ tangent to $e$, then prove that the locus of △$ABC$'s circumcenters $T$ is a conic section. (Since my mother tongue is not English, if there is any unclear expression, just ask me!)

why this gets many upvote even if it does not meet MSE policy and attempts to the answer the question are being made?

@rschwieb: Just curious, are you intending to run for the upcoming Math SE moderator election? Math Meta has some unofficial nominations already.

Hello, @KReiser. I created this chatroom to let you know that I think you'd make an excellent candidate in the upcoming election for a new moderator, because you'd make an excellent moderator. I'm not the only one who believes this. If you have any questions, feel free to ping me here! You have shown pretty much all the qualities that a moderator needs. I'll help in any way, and will unofficially announce you as a candidate, if you'd like. Self nominations begin next week.

1 message moved from Room for amWhy and KReiser
@KReiser The chatroom I created seemed to be created on another site, so I moved the message here.

@amWhy I think this conversation would be off-topic in this room, so I'll respond in that other room if that's all right with you?

@KReiser Sure, I'm there now!

There's always this though it doesn't seem to have taken off very much yet

@AlexanderGruber Thanks for the info!! It might be handy to include a link to it in the "questionnaire" post on meta!
And also on the "unofficial" nomination meta page.
