At work we have a device with an SMA antenna connector. The manufacturer has glued the antenna to the device with epoxy. How can we open that connector? It also doesn't help that the nut on SMA connectors is 5/16". Who has a 5/16" wrench?! 😤
@Erlkoenig search for hate on "dangle mugs". Status symbol isn't really getting it, it's indicators of social groups. Not wearing Gucci and the like can be a class indicator too.
@gschenk That's actually easier than the alternative.
Camping is cheaper, so it's the default option for people in their 20s. But it's a fair bit more to carry, plus more time, and rain can really make for a miserable trip.
But if you can simply ride up to a B&B at the end of the day, lock your bikes in a shed, carry your bags in and have a shower, that's vastly more comfortable.
HSE! HSE! How on earth did you get away with that? I haven't been in a working quarry since middle school, but when we were looking for fossils they had a complete work stoppage plus we were in a specific section with all equipment removed, carefully roped off from any conceivable rock fall hazards.
Folks, I want to use some kind of tire valve for pressurizing something other than a tire. It will be submerged in water (river) for a few weeks. Tire valves are corrosion resistant enough for this, aren't they?
