What do you reckon? Is it worth a $11 US gamble?

I need an 8 speed rear mech for my folder - the current one is a 8 speed tourney and it has so many issues.

I expect 9 speed will work fine on an 8 speed setup.

Main problem is whether I can find an old-fashioned crowfoot to mount it, because this bike doesn't have a modern hanger attachment.

With a mill, a lathe, and a good vise one make so many small parts.

I've been looking for a lathe for a long time. They're all enormous and cheapish, or good and spendy, or reasonable price but made of chinese-cheese.
