5:20 AM
The eternal struggle: Too little air in the tyres, too much air in the brake lines.

5:43 AM
Theoretically it would be possible to pump your tires with your hydraulic brake levers.

Hydraulic pumps exist, so... 😄

6:03 AM
Oh i was thinking like with some kind of check valve or gas-permeable membrane
you could redirect that brake line air into the tires

6:39 AM
Logging trucks have air-tight rotating assemblies that can inflate and deflate tyres while driving.
Some farm trucks can do this too.

6:54 AM
@MaplePanda Yeah theat would be neat 😄
@Criggie But do their brakes auto-bleed?!?!?!

my car auto bleeds its brakes - out onto the ground which is why the garage floor is covered with cardboard.

It should bleed out the air bubbles, not the oil 🤣

@Erlkoenig I thought remote controlled tyre pressure is the new hotness?
or can it only release pressure? i.e. just a remote controlled valve?
for the hydraulic brakes we’d just need a circular system
like water pumps in PCs

11:44 AM
@Erlkoenig Pfffft - that's what the reservoiur is for.

@Michael According to tech bros 🤣
@Criggie Spreading oil in the streets is ungood

That's why I leave it parked in my driveway 99 days in 100
Its a win !

12:15 PM
Seems like wasted space on the driveway. Install a sick BMX rink or flowers or hammock or a gazebo or solar cells or a fireplace or artwork or...

1:10 PM
I like Criggies car. It's about a century old and harmlessly stands around far from cities.

It takes space away from Criggie 😁

manufacturing it emitted CO2e and cost resources

if I ever lived in a house, I'd get rid of garage and driveway and install an all-around garden with many fragrant flowers and herbs

isn’t a garage a great place for bicycle maintenance and storage?
though of course for bikes you don’t need a 2m wide door and driveway

Yeah but bikes can also be stored in the basement or a small storeroom. Garage space can be used for something nicer

1:26 PM
Real reason Crig doesn't drive his car: The seat doesn't slide far enough back for him to fit.

:D
he probably managed to break the seat rails

6 hours later…
7:22 PM
I feel discussed.
beam

8:01 PM
@Michael or he bent the seatpost
we all love teasing you criggie
