85 is a lot for a stem

get your ruler - look at 230mm or 9"

Imagine a stem that long and imagine how few are sold

Thus, the price.

hehehe one of the racers at work noticed my stem, so he picks it up and has a good look.

So I said "So how does it feel to handle my nine inches Tim?" and he rapidly put it down

Hah - got the new stem on (2 minutes work) and decided to chuck on the spare drops to measure for position....

nothing's cabled - just trying how it felt

I think the bullhorns could work quite well.

yeah I have to unwrap them to move the brifters and quill stem anyway

yeah just showing you lot some progress.

I got an addition to my Flevo bike, it now has a ring lock holder with a ring lock on the front = driven wheel. This will not be the only lock when parked in town. But it is the easiest way to quickly put on a lock before spending time to get the good cable attached.

The guys at work did design and weld on the metal work and did give the bike a double coat of paint in that area.
