"( RS-232)" <- not sure if this is deliberate, but there's a space after the opening parenthesis which looks odd to me.

@Rich The thing with :h patches is that it's just the git log output (and a rather outdated one, too). IMHO it's not very useful
:h version-8.1 etc. contains some info, but since about 2/3 years of development are all grouped together it's again, not all that useful

@MartinTournoij I agree it's not much use for deciding whether you might want to upgrade. I've found it (and the similar bits on the version7 pages) pretty useful in the past for figuring out when specific features/functions were added.
