@Friedrich i can relate to this a bit; we have to get approval for some of the fees to be paid (and for some products we have a limited pool of licenses on hand at any time, i think)
But I at least know the folks who are trying to push the company towards sponsoring (financially or otherwise—possibly embedding devs!) critical projects
