@quid I want a reply to the abstract question. I don't even know what the question is (nor do I need to know). I just want a reply. :P

@XanderHenderson while it is harmless in this case, I prefer not to implicitly divulge the content of flags.
I guess this qualifies as reply. Maybe not really an answer, but hey you ask for a reply.

@quid YES! A reply!

Any time.

What is the policy on sockpuppetting? Without going into specifics (I can flag if specifics are required) there is an account posting on meta which is an obvious sockpuppet. Is this within the rules, or should I raise a flag? or just assume that the moderators have already noticed this?
@quid seems to be pingable here, but any moderator input would be appreciated.

Hi, I have a weird question. What happens if a user is suspended with an active bounty? Can the user still accept answers? Can the user award the bounty? If this never happened or nobody knows, can I request to be suspended at the end of my bounty if there is an answer from just before the bounty expires to a bit after the grace period ends? (I do want to award the bounty if there is a good answer, but I am very curious about this.)

@Batominovski This seems related: Suspended user cannot award bounty.

@MartinSleziak Oh, thank you. Curiosity satisfied.

@quid Thanks for handling my flag. I'm not sure what is the abstract question, because I thought I was the one answering haha.. Unless you are referring to my "Can a moderator ...?" =P

A: How should sockpuppets be handled on Stack Exchange?

Shog9How can I be sure I'm looking at a sockpuppet? You can't ever be 100% sure. What you think is a sockpuppet could in fact be my good friend Nog Shine, who loves everything I write, copies my writing style, and uses my computer to vote and post stuff when I step away for coffee. But in practice, ...

Though personally if I were to decide, I would say that every user should be limited to exactly one account, and if they wish to do any testing they need to use a specially provided test account whose activity (and votes) are erased completely after a month or so. But I have no say anyway.
