@GeorgeEdison sorry I missed your pbuilder question earlier
That's okay.
I think I sort of have it figured out now.
02:45
Hi all:)
Lol... somebody created a website named configure.ac :P
Anyone familiar with the GNU build system will get the joke.
nice...it's in japanese ;) kind of makes you wonder...
I'm really having problems getting GTK+ to build.
@aking1012: Thanks for pointing out that question to me yesterday.
I was able to help him in the end.

A: What is the correct way to use g_signal_connect() in C++ for dynamic unity quicklists?

George EdisonEdit: okay, after a fair amount of investigation (which involved running valgrind), I have finally managed to figure out what's going on here. Your callback's signature isn't correct. The signature for the static method should be: void MainWindow::fake_callback(DbusmenuMenuitem *, guint, gpoint...

02:50
awesome. and you got a fat bounty too
I answered two questions, then I can gt to the channel:)

@smartboyhw all your points came from the one question though
No, Wait a minute, I answered TWO questions, one gave me 10, one gave me 15.
Anyway, someone help solve MY question:)
no. one upvote and an accept on the same question... ;) still. anyway...
02:54
@smartboyhw check out psychocats psychocats.net/ubuntu/pureubuntu
haven't checked to see if any of the removals conflict with studio, but it should warn you if you remove something that has an rdepend
Thanks @aking2012.
Sorry, I just playing with my Studio. Anyway I got it back:)
np. like i said, not tested...but that's the source of most of those types of answers anyway
@GeorgeEdison what's the problem? version mismatches and not building with latest?
also...some progress on the torrentstreamer. ogg looks like a really handy format for it, but i still need to test splicing streams in without headers in a way that works without "chop" between files...

that and i can't find a straightforward example of decoding ogg/theora/vorbis to an opengl surface and openal audio sink. everything i can find uses SDL and *insert a weird audio library here*
@aking1012 Well... the problem is that some of the code tries to redefine isnan and isinf which are C99 standard library functions.
...and the root of that problem seems to be the configure script.
Well, the problem is that the compiler is using C99 mode and already has isnan and isinf defined.
Something in the configure script is messing up.
I originally made a patch against configure.ac which worked on my machine.
03:10
fair. and you're trying to script the thing so just adding -ansi really isn't an option i suppose. or am i steering this down a road that didn't work for you
03:27

note that it doesn't display exact seconds...or even minutes afaict
/bin/bash: no: command not found
chroot or are you on non-ubu? some distros put it in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin shouldn't on the latter
I'm using a chroot, yes.
What package provides no?
oh i glossed over no
i have no idea. apt-file doesn't know what provides 'bin/no$' either
04:32
Ah, I might have found something.
> "You have a missing gdk-pixbuf-csource"
We'll see if that helps.
Argh! Didn't work.
I wonder if I could make myself a watch like that out of a digispark? probably...
@aking1012 The answer is a yes :D

06:58
@RolandTaylor The fact I thought it wasn't going to crash! (It did)
@njallam the nightly build doesn't.
@RolandTaylor So the Nightly is more stable than the Stable?
@njallam for me, yes
@RolandTaylor Wow
I blame Windows then
Oh you are on Windows?
07:02

            System.out.println("Hello World");
        }

@AmithKK What could possible go wrong with that?
public class Myprogram
   {
      public static void main(String args[])

Q: How to upgrade Compiz to 0.9.8 in 12.04?

NaveenFor a very long time, I'm experiencing this bug in Compiz. It makes my windows flash, when rotating the desktop cube. None of the animations work properly execpt the Wobbly windows. However the temporary fix I found on the bug page helped me to reduce the effects, but it's not 100% perfect. Now ...

@fossfreedom heh apparently, there is a newer Compiz package in precise.. that PPA won't help unless vanvugt updates his PPA.
Cool:)
LOL
Thanks Amith KK:)
13:51
@jokerdino ok - I suppose you could always remove compiz - install via the PPA and then hold the packages from being upgraded.
... something like this answer - dunno why this one was closed. askubuntu.com/questions/181377/…
Well, I think it is a bug or the info is not enough. I don't know what it means actually
@fossfreedom dont know. i just started preparing my package..
@jokerdino What package?
@smartboyhw compiz SRU package
@jokerdino OK. I'm trying to start the QA meeting now:)
