to be honest, it's not a really simple translation. Because "bem" can be either an adjective or a substantive "Eu estou bem" means "I'm well" (adv) and "Fazer o bem" means "Do good" (sub),
I am new to Ubuntu. I installed alongside Windows 10 and installed TLP by following the official website guide. But, I tried a few commands shown in that linrunner site, such as
sudo tlp status
sudo tlp bat
without knowing exactly what they do... Now my laptop battery stops charging at 97% and...

The Romans drove on the left and in whole Europe this was not changed until Napoleon just decided to do so – Sweden changed from left to right not until 1967!
Dagen H (H day), today usually called "Högertrafikomläggningen" ("The right-hand traffic diversion"), was the day on 3 September 1967, in which the traffic in Sweden switched from driving on the left-hand side of the road to the right. The "H" stands for "Högertrafik", the Swedish word for "right traffic". It was by far the largest logistical event in Sweden's history.
== Background ==
There were various major arguments for the change:
All of Sweden's neighbours (including Norway and Finland, with which Sweden has land borders) drove on the right, with 5 million vehicles crossing those borders...
this last one could be a community promotion ad
“Ubuntu is the right choice – have your Dagen H now.” :)
@dessert the romans did it that way so they had their shield towards the road and could use their fighting arm to strike
napolean wanted to run into enemies head on due to the fact they had rifles and no longer needed shields
and for the 1st few years he'd have the upper hand surprising enemies like that
@dessert yes.
when they saw a group of people heading their way from the same side they'd hide at the side of the road and fire away cuz all allies would walk on the other side
and yes, since they did not have twitter not all allies know this so lots of friendly fire kills too

I'm trying to connect to my universities VPN on Ubuntu. Unfortunately they don't offer any guidance on Linux (I'm on Ubuntu 16.04) VPN setup, only Windows and Mac, so I'm trying to connect from the information they provide for them.
Here is their online guide - https://www.stir.ac.uk/is/student/...
I am currently taking a Computer Systems class and am having trouble with a homework problem. I have to create this specific process tree:
I also need it to stay in this state for a while (using sleep()) so a user can look it up in the terminal using pstree and see that it exists. Then it must...
@Terrance - the output looks fishy (debian 9 [with typos!], mixed with ubuntu). It looks to me like a [system] file was corrupted, so a debian stretch .deb was sudo dpkg -i --force-things .. was used to install it - but this is all pure guess.
it could also be they added debian sources to sources.list.d/? and thus mucked up this way -- either way I'd re-install (unless i knew exactly what was done)
I've been searching StackExchange and elsewhere for awhile now. None of the fixes seem to work for me (or only fix a part of the issue).
