@ParanoidPanda is it unethical to hack your neighbors wifi password, then tell them they should change it?
-.- at some point i should start studying for my exam tonight
@TheXed yes.
@Serg The answer is C.
But you don't have to tell them you hacked it...
just be like "ummm you might want to change your password"
@KazWolfe yes, C, but maybe Python would be easier
"I 'accidentally' brute-forced it" @TheXed
21:01
@TheXed "why?"
@KazWolfe @Zacharee1 I will work on this..
You. Are. Not. Brazilian.
@TheXed no. just no
leave anonymous note at the door or something
there's too much of a room for speculation and pressing charges
even accidentally hacking can still be illegal
and there was a post on Information Security for that

Q: Filtering Telegram Traffic

Z. KiwanI want to filter Telegram Messenger to monitor the network activities (logging) from any platform. I'm wondering if there is any signature I can look into to detect the traffic, maybe a list of server IP's and TCP/UDP ports for the telegram service or any other identifier that I can use as a star...

hmmm... suspicious...

@TheXed It could save them from a real bad guy. But it might not be legal without asking them first. My beliefs and that of the law often differ though. Although I don't agree with all of the law, I try not to break it. I like my cookie access. :P

@TheXed Or change the ssid/password, so they have to reset to factory settings...
@RobotHumans...I would thinking about looking on DHCP, enabling remote desktop, and randomly start playing music from their computer....
Soooo cold, hope I am not getting sick...

Q: How to overclock multiple Nvidia GPUs in Ubuntu

Douglas Larsensudo nvidia-xconfig -a --cool-bits=28 --allow-empty-initial-configuration ...worked for me! But I don't know why unless order matters. However, even though a monitor, device and screen is laid out for devices 0, 1 and 2 within xorg.conf it only shows XScreens 0 and 1 within the Nvidia control ...

so tired
soooo excited :)
hi everyone~!
@WinEunuuchs2Unix hi.
Hey Xed... long time no chat... how's IL?

It was supposed to rain/snow today but it didn't

hey dark lord of security!
You know Jorge Castro has posted two 500 point bounties which I both "won" but the answers were never accepted so I only got 250 points each. With the extra 500 lost to Ubuntu pool of lost bounties I could have had 10K and mod tools today :(

@Zacharee1 yeah, something is acting up. Not sure if it's the transport, load balancer, or application.
The probabilities are all equally likely given the information I have now.
I'll have to debug later.
Anyone have tips on Zenity or YAD progress bars? I have a process that takes 4 seconds so I want to progress bar it.
@WinEunuuchs2Unix is it python
I'm not going there... it's the same application where you wanted API for scraping websites :p
all in bash with wget :)
you're.... wanting to call zenity from bash for a progress bar?
23:50
condemns your Bash and goes back to working
@Seth did the rocket launch?
I missed it, but yes!
And landed!
@KazWolfe Both Zenity and YAD have progress bar support. My bash application is using both of them already for dialog boxes and what not... I was just curious if one was better than the other at progress bars.
just... use python or something.
sigh My short term goal is to use bash all I can for about a year then transition to C and SQL for about five years.
and collect AU points along the way :) yeah!

So Twitter doesn't count mentions towards the 140 character limit now.
Leading to this:
That's some brilliant engineering there.
