Why does the system allow me to have two files with the same name (upper and lower case variants) but when I attempt to copy them it says I must replace one or skip it.
@MarcoCeppi My suggestion sort of deals with that but you're probably right - They'll probably not implement it. Getting new things implemented is like pulling teeth unless SE suggests the change :(
is there a "better" application than shotwell for managing photos? like i replaced audacious with banshee, i'd like to replace "YYYY-MM-DD" folder structures with something more powerful.

Just installed Ubuntu 11.10, along with Gnome 3 to replace Unity. I'm using the classic Gnome look rather than the new one which is way too much like Unity for my tastes. Seems like everything is getting harder and harder to configure, fewer and fewer options. It's driving me nuts.

Any problems I might have had till now are graphic drivers faults, had I removed the driver before the upgrade all would be good.
but users consider failed upgrades anything now a days: "I installed 11.10 and now I cannot use my old GNOME classic desktop, will use 11.04 until you decide to drop Unity!"

@rlemon Things like usually happens because of the way votes and scores are denormalised (to keep the system awesome). I'll perform a recalc on your account to get you an accurate score (note: it may go down!)
