@NathanOsman as of 1.1.2017 I get 300mbps for 80 euro but that is with TV(=40euro) and telephone(=10euro). And we now also have HBO for "free".
Those 300mpbs also include the bandwith for TV if I watch TV and internet at the same time.

more details about your ISP, Firefox version, addons running, etc. might help
@George and if you can torch your Firefox profile temporarily (move your firefox config directory to somewhere else temporarily) and see if it still does it, we can try and rule out malware

if you gonna use sudo -i don't forget to exit the root shell when done
you may as well just hand a baby a blowtorch as drop a new user in there without reminding them to get out
I'd just sudo each command personally

I nearly ran rm * in ~ once, I thought I was in a subdirectory mucking around, but I had already cd ..
I just glanced at my prompt and caught myself in time hahaha

Q: chkrootkit reports tcpd to be infected, should I be worried?

Paranoid PandaI ran sudo chkrootkit today and was told this as a part of the output: Checking `tcpd'... INFECTED I am running Ubuntu GNOME 16.10 with GNOME 3.22, what does this mean, should I be worried and how can I investigate further?
