Screen resolution I can understand (if you're doing VR) but it is very well-optimized with respect to battery usage. I have yet to use it so much that it ran out of juice during the day. As for storage, if you need more than 64 GB, use a flash drive :P

That brand was our first LCD monitor and... a few weeks before the warranty expired, it died (screen went black, smoke came out, etc.).

AFAIK, the Quantum Fireball ST3 still runs (hard drive from the 90s) and the 486 still runs though the CMOS battery died (I have to put HD parameters into the BIOS by hand).

And the 5&1/4" floppy drive doesn't work.

The 486 is tricky because it doesn't have USB ports. There is no way to get files off of it other than 3&1/2" floppy.

Hey, but I wonder if I could write an app that would render files as a series of QR codes onscreen.

It would have to run on Windows 95.

But it's doable.

Okay, with base64, I can pack at least 1 kb into a QR code.

So a 120kb image would take about 160 QR codes to transmit.

I wonder how high I can go with the density here...

Bonus points if I could automate this...

The QR code reader on my phone can't read one with 2KB of data.

So the limit is somewhere between 1-2 KB.

I'm mostly a calm person. But this just drives me crazy. They are convinced that I am evil incarnate , and no amount of my actions convinces them otherwise. They don't remember how I worked in restaurant. They don't remember that i was doing deliveries just to save up some measly 200$ for Acer chromebook for my mom's birthday ( which she didn't like in the end because no skype, and holly hell - she was giving me so many talks about how all her family has skype but not her ).

Nobody remembers how i was waking up at 5 AM to go open those computer labs . . . .
