Q: One of my flages is marked as "Disputed". What does this mean?

NonStandardModelI have flaged one question as "low quality" during a review. Today I saw that the flag was marked as Disputed. What does this mean?

How do I get to the mobile chat?
@StefanoPalazzo in the bottom right corner there is a link
directly under the "ask ubuntu" logo
Hello everyone
18:12
hiya
@jokerdino how you doing today?
a lil' bit stressed. New younglings coming in today.
I understand that feeling
I won't be home to welcome them. :(
I am driving today so I am on my tablet, I feel handicapped on it.
18:19
yeah, I will be away from home too..
I guess @James will have to do it all :P
Sounds like a fun day.
40 minutes until our new mods!
Are the new mods announced immediately when the election finishes ?
40 minutes?
1h 40min, I thought...
Oh those time zones... DST does not make them easier.
@jokerdino yes not ye. ;)
@ByteCommander
@HenryWHHack ne
It's 18:24 utc
Election ends at 20:00
18:23
Is that now 1h +40min or 0h +40min?
oh, so it is.
false alarm. :P
@ByteCommander You said you thought it was 1:40 until the end.
@AndroidDev Yes. And that seems to be true.
But the site's label "in 1 hour" is not really helpful to distinguish that.
@ByteCommander Then how come it says 1 hour left?
Blame rounding.
18:26
@Seth ran out of time for George. But I'll be here myself.
So I guess it's a race :)
Everyone get your command-line-fu ready...
@NathanOsman huh ?
@Videonauth My thoughts exactly
What's confusing?
The election ends today.
The results will be provided as an OpenSTV file.
We won't know who won until someone crunches the numbers.
And the fastest way to do that is with the command-line.
ah now it makes sense
18:34

Q: Make URLs of flair image representing your votes in the final phase HTTPS

Byte CommanderI have cast my 3 votes in the final phase of the Ask Ubuntu elections 2016 and now my Firefox browser warns me because of mixed HTTP/HTTPS content. Examining this further, the only HTTP content are the user flair images that appear in the right sidebar to show me for whom I voted, e.g. http://as...

@ParanoidPanda You want to support this bug report too, I assume? ^
@NathanOsman And how do we crunch them? The elections page only has links for Windows and OSX tools. They did not realize we're Ask Ubuntu here...
@ByteCommander ask a question!
@ByteCommander @BharadwajRaju - And do we know how long the crunching takes?
Time will tell...
18:39
Less than a second.
(in other words - I have no idea)
Someone just has to do it.
You can practice with data from the last election.
Shouldn't the site do that automatically?
@NathanOsman Someone will probably beat me to it anyway.
@AndroidDev already done.
18:41
@ByteCommander no, it shouldn't.
@KazWolfe But the election hasn't ended yet...
@AndroidDev but the results are... predetermined
just like the US Political System!
It will end in about 80 minutes.
@KazWolfe Unfortunately...
@KazWolfe Then who do you think will win?
18:44
@AndroidDev I'm fairly confident @ThomasW. will grace us
And what about this whole bunch of options?
was pinged
reads back
defautls work just fine
it reads them from the file
18:44
@ByteCommander What's that tool?
and i think the other one is either @Pilot6, @Terdon, or @JacobVlijm
apt install openstv?
@BharadwajRaju yep
@NathanOsman Where do you get the old stv file from?
@KazWolfe thx
@KazWolfe I'd rather wait until the election is over to determine who does/doesn't win
likes to exclude speculation from his analyses
@ThomasW. This is speculation.
based on the leaked election results :P
18:48
leaked?
@ByteCommander Obviously that was a joke
Or not?
@BharadwajRaju it may or may not have been
Lets assume it's not
and just wait :)
I hope not
Nobody knows. Internet irony is sometimes hard to detect...
18:49
At any rate, leaked results aren't going to change anything
@BharadwajRaju So if I practiced correctly, I should have gotten "Winners are Seth and Mitch."
right?
@AndroidDev Yes.
@KazWolfe So we'll all be spamming F5 in about 70 minutes, eh?
@AndroidDev Yes.
And how are the results going to get officially published?
18:52
@ByteCommander In an STV
And then shog9 will post something officially showing data
about 20 minutes after
Yes, I meant who is responsible for that.
Shog9 I think, or one of the SE employees
5 minutes?
From now?
For end of the election
@andrew.46 No, it ends in about 62 minutes.
@HenryWHHack That guy...
user136984
So what time exactly does the election end?
Cursed time zones
@andrew.46 but on the page it says "election ends in 1 hour".
No timezones there :D
18:54
20:00 UTC
My excuse ie that it is very early here and very cold :)

A: Why do we need to update applications on our computer even when they work fine?

Stephen M. WebbIf it isn't broke, don't fix it. Some well-known commercial enterprises want you to upgrade frequently so they can continue to control you as a source of revenue. To that end they promote a culture of newest is best. Caveat emptor.

wat
someone that would like to move this to U+L ? askubuntu.com/questions/789861/…
> Some well-known commercial enterprises
@Rinzwind I flagged it.
18:57
Probably think they're on SuperUser answering something for Windows
I'm going to come back in 50 mins and attempt to be the first one to post the results...
@Rinzwind I did it (close)
Here's who I voted for:
@NathanOsman Hahaha
18:58
Good luck figuring it out :P
None of them has enough white and red to be me... I'm disappointed :(
Thomas is #2
@ByteCommander I changed the colors too.
@KazWolfe I changed the colors...
18:59
@NathanOsman Oh snap
So what sense does it make then?
oh
you are evil
That's kind of the point. You have no idea :D
wow... >.>
what good is it if we have no idea!
18:59
No good!
