ah well , not made it over the 200 yesterday

user139252
It's alright.

user139252
So, the Mint box mini works out pretty well on Ubuntu

user139252
The casing gets rather hot, but the temperature sensors are saying it's an okay temperature

O__O
how hot?

Are the sensors calibrated?
@Edity What's O__O?

12:09 AM
a longer version of O_O

Then what's O_O?

just O_O

I do wish you people on the internet learn good English.

Well I try. ;)

Wie geht es dir?
No one can read that. ;)

@user3417815 please not assume to quick inability on the questioners side, not every package you can compile from source, or get as a tarball. Best example here is steam. You only get a .deb file and it installs, guess where, in your home folder. — Videonauth 39 secs ago

Hello Seth my good mod friend. :)

Hello Seth

hi!

user139252
@RobotHumans ahoy matey

september 8 of every year is mod day

@Seth --> askubuntu.com/a/781620/522934 is a nice way of counting up own answered questions, what do you think?

1:25 AM
@Videonauth I don't understand.

see my answer and his own answer to his own question ;)
he took that information of my answer and posted an own answer to his own question

1:39 AM
@TheBrownOne o/

@Videonauth hm

he asked 3 hours ago, i answered 3 hours ago, now i look and he answered himself a few minutes ago iwith , that it is avaiable still, guess next step will be waiting 2 days and accept own answer

That time differential makes it really low. If I post a scratch pad self answer, it's immediately.

yep
thats what i mean

well he did add a bit of information you didn't, but the whole thing is weird.
Looking at his question though @Videonauth, you didn't really answer it.

1:45 AM
his question was that write2tex isnt supported anymore and with which software he now can convert odt to latex
my answer it is still supported and steps how to install it

no, he said it didn't support the latest version of LibreOffice, not if the software existed.
but you might leave a comment asking about the whole thing

Quote: "Writter2Latex seems to not support anymore the latest version of LibreOffice Writer. So, can I still convert .odt to .tex with another software/extension? Using Ubuntu 16.04" , then i did find it in the archives, installed it and it worked flawlessly with my bleeding edge updated Ubuntu 16.04 clean install, and posted my answer
but well no i wont comment on it, i'll move on
lol now even retracted the vote on my post, sighs
ok guys do me a favor and downvote my answer to -3 and ill delete it, then i at least get a badge from it
like was there done that got a badge
xD

Stupid Explorer
So it turns out that, even if I get my phone to work with the new modem, there's no actual framework enabled to handle the WiFi calling capability. I have to wait for the new build.
@Videonauth I'll downvote, but only because of the grammar in that second sentence ;P

2:03 AM
yeah gime the peer pressure ;)
otherwise i might have to skip on that badge :p

heh
I'm actually just gonna go to sleep

well, and gone my answer is :)

Sleep is for humans ;)

@RobotHumans yes

indeed

Guys, Bones has one more episode this season and then 12 more after that
then that's it; it's over
FOREEVAR

my ex hated that show. thought it watered down the books. she'll be pleased
#authorproblems

there are books?

yes. the characters come from a book. the episodes, idk.

oh
huh
@James Everyone nominate me :p

nominate for what?

2:15 AM
Just imagine xD

2:27 AM
what a waste that this will be closevoted within a day --> askubuntu.com/q/781626/522934 he put quite a bit of research into this question

why?

15.04 ...

oh heh

not tag but in text

should probably tell them to upgrade and continue
Although actually
It isn't necessarily specific to 15.04, is it?

2:29 AM
probably not
and the value gain from answers would be beneficial

So then it isn't OT

i wonder if i shall edit out the 15.04 @Seth

Even if we get something for an EOL release that has that much detail, I would think it still provides value for VPS users. Not saying take all comers on EOL questions, but I think this should probably have a definitive yes somewhere on meta at some point.

2:48 AM
my thought, i just don't want to decide such a massive change in the users post on my own humble user opinion.

@jokerdino what happens when I flag something for moderator attention ? Does all mods get notified ???

I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because this is not about Ubuntu and you are supposed to do your homework yourself. — Videonauth 18 secs ago
at least he could have been creative and ask three questions disguised

@JourneymanGeek ok

@SeverusTux it will added to a queue for all mods to see and act on

5:42 AM
hm... @SmokeDetector is taking a nap after long work hours ;)

No new spamer link I guess, falls through the heuristic
all the words used there can hapen on the page on a regular basis so no chance to filter for them and the link may be unknown till now

i might ask someone what is happening to smoky

The spammers may bypass smokedetector but there can't bypass the human users.

@HenryWHHack in theory, smokey is supposed to augment humans and the system
Don't forget, there's also the built in anti spam features on SE

How did you where you watching all the time?

Nope
The satillites do all the work

Can a mod please teach me something about becoming a mod? :D

yes

Thew first thing about being a mod is you don't want to be a mod

^--- this

6:01 AM
O_o

Three mods posted.
@JourneymanGeek I know why you said that. ;)

@HenryWHHack Its a lot of work, and all you get is a t-shirt and a hat
Oh, if you dun goofed badly it'll come out in the election posts

Where you blocked?

@NathanOsman Hi ;) Yesterday Seth told me that you did some work to improve chat. I was talking about adding a feature which shows who is typing , eg :" Videonauth is typing ..... " to make chat more interactive and interesting. Could you tell me more about it ? what did you do ?

I need to have fresh installation of every thing ,tux(Ubuntu games),Should I go for an Upgrade?Would It be successful?I don't have money as of now for ISP.

@MuditKapil Upgrading also requires lot of downloading..
:(

yes i know that bro

6:44 AM
@MuditKapil if I where in your situation, i would do a one time download of a new disk image and then put it on a stick or disk
thats a one time download and if anything goes wrong you have the image
if you now try an upgrade and it gets wrong you had the ~2GB of files downloaded for naught and have then to download the disk image

and I burn in to a Dvd I've used Clonzilla

@SeverusTux Sure!
You can learn more by going to sechat.quickmediasolutions.com

Only others status are enough

Thats pretty cool

@SeverusTux Yes, I use it.
@SeverusTux There's an option for that.
See the "prefs" link in the lower right corner of the page?
Try clicking that :)

but i think that showing all users in this row is a bit overkill, or isnt it possible other way ?

6:56 AM
@Videonauth I don't quite understand?
It only shows the users with the script installed. And their icons only appear up to the point where they've read.

i see myself you and tux now when youre typing

@NathanOsman So.. I will be seeing your status only if both of us are using this??

Correct.

nice
@NathanOsman I did not get the pref link :( :|

Are you sure?
It's in the orange bar along the bottom next to "help".
