Unity user made me chuckle... because my internal dialogue was "Wow, they got that one right. That's the one guy that uses Unity"
LOL
Well, fitting that Fedora is Data Center
It should be more RedHat though
You think I wear a suit? Hah.
@Seth You know what I meant.
@Rinzwind I think kali should be the same as Mint :P
2
@hbdgaf I know :p
22:06
@Seth what you want someone to hack Kali website? :=)
@Rinzwind I mean 90% of kali questions are from noobs that think they are elite haxors because they are running kali
@Rinzwind Someone got the Defcon website with a phpBB 0day bug a while ago.
true :=)
@hbdgaf did they really? Ouch!
(why was defcon running phpBB?!!?)
No idea.
22:08
@Seth that's what they are asking themself :-P
lol
@Rinzwind I take it we don't really like Gentoo or Mint :p
@Zacharee1 I did not make the image :-P
It seems the creator only likes Fedora, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Kali
I WANT THE G5!
AGH
It's such an exciting phone!
I thought arch was entirely innacurate, as were most of them.
It's why my internal dialogue made me laugh.
22:12
People complain that the LG's design looks a little dull, and it does, but it's nearly the same as the iPhone
@Zacharee1 so their complaint is correct? >:-D
@Rinzwind You owe me a keyboard.
@hbdgaf send me your back account number! :D
Sure, here you go... blink
@Rinzwind But of course! My problem is that they say the iPhone looks good
Shots fired
22:17
I can't understand why someone can't just build a nice, usable, reliable phone. The G5 is cheesy, the GS7 is still.. Samsung. Shiny and TouchWhiz. Motorola is as close as it comes but they aren't good with updates now that Lenovo owns them. That leaves Nexii.
I'm not generally one to go after design, but gNewSense looks like simplyMEPIS 6.0
Oh and HTC is not sensible.
(pun intended)
@Seth What's "cheesy" about the G5?
@Zacharee1 Gouda :=)
@Seth so done with your jokes face here
@Rinzwind I like gouda
Another reason to get it!!!
22:18
@Zacharee1 I have 2 kilo in the fridge :-D
@Rinzwind mail it here :P
@Zacharee1 All the stupid accessories I will never use. And the pop out battery thing looks extremely fragile.
Have you ever had to put a 2.5" HDD in or out of an external case? Now imagine doing that whenever you open the G5.
@Seth Oh, I'm definitely never going to use accessories, but the popout is actually very stable, according to every hands-on early reviewer
@Seth and it's still not technically released. Even though it's probably hit its final build, there is still a chance something will change
I like the G4, but the screen is rather large. That was one thing I liked about the G5. Slightly more sensible screen size.
And not the 4GB RAM?
And the always-on screen?
22:20
@Zacharee1 "naw, we went back to the old battery compartment design" yeah right ;)
4GB RAM is the norm for most budget laptops
@Zacharee1 Nope. Couldn't care less.
@Seth What does that say?
sorry, got mangled in editing.
Be glad LG actually made the G5 an upgrade. The S7 is an S6 with a curved back
@Seth still don't understand :p
Oh I get it
I wasn't saying that
Since the battery is tricky to take out and put in, they may revise the connector
And be glad they actually have a removable battery. Even Google killed that
There's also a lot less bloatware on the phone.
22:24
Yes, @Seth does get points for that stab

Q: Does anyone know how the "best Q & A" of AU is decided in the Ubuntu Weekly Newsletter?

Jacob VlijmExcuse me my vanity, which is the background of this question, but here we go... To prevent misunderstandings: this is not about the ask ubuntu newsletter, but the Ubuntu Weekly Newsletter, sent by Elizabeth K. Joseph Since long I have been subscribed to the Ubuntu Weekly Newsletter. I never...
