Anyway, it fills up the whole page and is a big nuisance as well as being offensive... So just a small notice with a link to the whole stuff would still be nice...

@terdon: Well, because there is so much text there I don't know if there is, say, a malicious image hiding amongst it, because it would be rather hard to tell with all that text and the person could have more malicious intentions than are currently apparent...

That doesn't mean I should go there more than once... Maybe it didn't load properly or something the first time, I don't want it again! :D

But it would still be nice for there to just be a little notice instead of that text (though of course the notice provides a link to the original text).

Was this deleted through the means of a offensive flag being validated then?

Well, probably some crazy Window obsessed guy posted that rude thing and then a hidden image amongst it so that he could target Ubuntu lovers...

Just a quick question, I found that there is some software in the Ubuntu main repository which depends on something which it does not install as a dependency, can I submit a patch where I just add it into the control file? And I don't have to do it for every control file if they change? Or is this generally not the kind of thing you submit patches for?

They just seem never to want to fix it so I thought I could just fix it and all they need to do then is to accept it...

What does the command command do by the way?

I have reported it but they haven't done anything about it and it was a while ago I filed the report, so I was wondering, is this the sort of thing that one can submit a patch for?
