I'm trying to run a windows .Net application (day-z alpha) with wine on ubuntu. It says I need mono 2.8 or greater. I've compiled mono 3.2.7 which supports .Net 4.5 but wine still tells me I need 2.8 or greater
Does anyone here know how to get wine to detect the updated mono?

@JohnMerlino i haven't been in a big enough environment to need it, but it's making the DB use a radius db for auth or siimlar. that way the local machine has nothing to do with auth. it just runs the service and auth is centralized.
Right now I'm running on Kubuntu and I'd like to install Awesome Window Manager in terminal. I've used Xmonad but I'd like another window manager, but don't know how to install "Awesome" from the terminal.
