it's a mechanical thing. taking apart and retracing your steps backwards is just a matter of course. it's nothing major to take down a laptop. you'll be fine.
it's usually about three. on any given side of any given blob. so you're at most 2 x 2 x 3 deep. so it makes sense to do it my way. if you just place in sectors, you'll miss something that was attached at a particular layer and have to disassemble to reassemble. i don't like repeating work

@Seth Seems like the reasoning for course of action from this administration is "what would be the worst idea? yeah, let's do that..." -- Wait, shouldn't they close all roads since most states take federal subsidies for road maintenance? But then who would pay the taxes that pay government salaries? Just food for thought. -- I'm going to regret saying that when they do it.
