@BeastOfCaerbannog because I'm a weirdo... the bananas go overripe after 2 days... so just before they get overripe I peel any remaining and put them in the fridge or freezer. I don't keep any food waste around - I have to take it out to the rubbish bins immediately to avoid attracting flies etc (inevitable in hot climate) so I don't want to have to deal with the peel every time I want to eat them (also it's too difficult to peel frozen bananas haha)
