@A.B. Because if it doesn't match once you don't want to keep matching and printing matches (see you example: the trailing 2 is unwanted)

@kos I think your answer is correct.
Everything else is interpretation. =)

@Fabby - You ever have trouble finding a sweet spot in problem solving where if the problem is too hard - you get stuck/bored and stop working on it, but if the problem is too easy - you get bored and stop working on it. So you wind up just stuck?

@A.B. thank you, I am still at 7k, can't view deleted questions

kos
8:04 PM
@A.B. No, I tought so as well but OP wants to match only until the first non-match: askubuntu.com/questions/639463/…

=\

kos
Mind that I wrote something wrong in the comment, b should have been .1.3.6.1.4.1.232.13600276.885, but I think we understood each other with OP regardless

Ok, I have updated my answer
This requirement should be in the question and not in the comments.

grep has -max-count option, that will quit after specific number of max matches, but i don't see anything in the manual about quiting on non match

kos
I've edited it, perhaps it's better now.
@Serg I don't think you can in fact. That's a shame :(
I've gone through all man grep earlier.

8:19 PM
I still like your answer @kos . I wouldn't have thought to use grep like that

kos
@Serg Yeah it would have been nice doing it that way, it's pretty clean.

@kos Regarding your server situation: I'm not expert in this myself.. do you have any logs you can check? i.e. what login credentials they used? Hopefully this will help you see whether they somehow cracked the username/password (or whatever) or if they used a SQL injection.

kos
@Seth I've opened a ticket with the help desk asking for any log they could provide me. Unfortunately I don't have SSH access and the vhost runs on Windows / Plesk, so I can just access via FTP. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm curious to see the query logs.
Yes they either used an SQL-injection or cracked the username / password brute-forcing, because the exploit was loaded through the upload form in the user's control panel, altough the last password I put there was a 32 character alphanumerical string.
I highly suspect an SQL-injection, but I'm also not able to reproduce it :(

Q: How to change to a different calender

Paranoid PandaI am wondering if there is anyway to easily change between calendars, or change between them at all? What I mean by that is, for example in the Buddhist calendar the current year is 2558, but I am unable to change the year to that in my Date and Time settings as it just goes back to 2015 immedia...

so who's Y2K expert here ?
@ParanoidPanda is your ubuntu 32 bit ?

9:01 PM
@hbdgaf :D :D :D Not the second one...
The first one: yes, but then I get back to the first one when I get another problem that bored me!
;-)
(Was out for a little time)

user136984
@Serg: No, 64-bit.

@Serg Readling... @ParanoidPanda

ah, ok. I though you couldn't change it because you had 32 bit. Cuz 32 bit system's epoch time expires in 2038 or so

Yes, I've had such a problem in Israel...
(But with Windows)
Lemme look around a bit.
Give me 5 minutes

user136984
@Fabby: If possible, I would like to fully change to another calender, and not just the year, is that possible? I mean, the year would be a start, but...

9:07 PM
I ended up fiddling with time zones and languages...
Lemme think and look on how to do this in Ubuntu...

user136984
Ok, thanks!

kos
What do you do with edits that introduce other errors? askubuntu.com/review/suggested-edits/429998

user136984
There should be a clean built-in way of doing this, as people will want to have the ability to go by other calenders, or at least to be able to easily view them.

@kos what do you mean by errors ? The skewed sideways title ?

kos
No @Serg apologies, I'm just tired :| it's fine actually

user136984
9:10 PM
@Fabby: Specifically what I'm looking for is to be able to change my calender to the Buddhist calender (including month names etc as well as the year), and then to be able to easily change it back to the default if I need to.

@kos so shall I approve that edit ? or you already did it ?

Wine is getting buggier with each update

@Virusboy So is Windows :P
(Sorry, I couldn't resist that one.)

@ParanoidPanda You should ask this in the morning when the Indians are still awake! :P

kos
@Serg I approved it but it still needs one

9:11 PM
@NathanOsman :D

user136984
:D

I used to havea lot of functionality now im having to dual boot in what used to work in WINE

kos
@Serg There's a space between Smart and phone by the way! I missed it

I'll fix it
you already did :D too many people editing stuff . .. .which is good !
i should go get some sleep tho

kos
@Serg Yes. Me either by the way, but I'm not in the mood to go to sleep yet

9:16 PM
@ParanoidPanda What I'm seeing is that it's impossible to do the stuff I did under Windows: You'll need special application software to do this....

I hoped to get to 200 points for today ,but . . .i'm too lazy, and I slept like 3 hours last night,so whatever, I got enough for one day

So leave the question in and when the Indians wake up, you should get some better answers

user136984
Ok

user136984
:D

@ParanoidPanda @serg: there that's the best I can do for now.
(edit the title)

9:21 PM
@Serg Nice one!

@terdon :D
you gave me that awesome idea; half the credit is yours

user136984
@Fabby: Ok, thanks! :)

user136984
I'm going to bed now...

user136984
So goodnight all and thanks for the help! :)

@ParanoidPAnda there's some calendar apps, so there must be something for buddhist calendar
but i don't think that's what you'd want
right ?

user136984
9:24 PM
I'd want something more built-in.

user136984
Anyway, goodnight! :D

see ya later o/

9:38 PM
@Pilot6: Please don't approve edits which just add irrelevant tags
(we have a special edit rejection button for that)
Otherwise users will use this to game the system to get rep without actually editing anything! ;-)
like this one

10:09 PM
@Serg You're on a roll with good answers! ;-) :P

Q: TTY being flooded by button that doesn't exist being held down

tworltlerAlright, I'm not really sure what's going on here. My laptop is a Dell precision m4800 running Ubuntu 15.04 64bit. It boots fast, without any issues, and I am able to login and generally go about my business. The problem come when I try to log in to a virtual console, the login is flooded with...
