@GeorgeEdison check that "couch_httpd_auth" is in "authentication_handlers" and that "require_valid_user" (near the top of the page) is true (also, bind_address should be 127.0.0.1)
@GeorgeEdison it will work, I think, even if you can't access the machine from outside your network. google will return a Location header, as long as your own browser understands it, you can log in no problem
@GeorgeEdison ah, thought so. the first pair of host and port is the host you want to bind the http server too - if you want everyone to be able to access the server, this would be "0.0.0.0" and some port
