the worst thing is, it affects so badly my system that after 2 to 5 hours the whole system locks and I need to reset my computer the hard way. Started around June and since then it has been a nightmare. I thought the 3.5/3.6 kernel with 12.10 would solve it but it didn't.

A: Can't make Safenet PKI client "find" my etoken (12.04 LTS)

ErickI may be wrong, however it's worthy a shot. In my understanding it's just the opposite. I work here with ikey2032 and etoken pro 72k. You only disable libhal and enable libusb to work with ikey. Unless I'm missing something...you might want to post on meta (or if you prefer I do so, that's OK with me) about whether or not it's sometimes appropriate to close discussion questions on meta as too localized.
