where can I view the upstart logs?

don't know if there are any logs? you can boot adding "--verbose" to the kernel line of the grub entry - this should add debug information to dmesg/syslog (or was it daemon.log?)

it's either upstart or upstart using an older job in /etc/init.d/ - if apache fails to start, shouldn't it have its own error logs? (something like /var/log/apache/*)

it's nice, although there needs to be a way to rearrange launcher icons (no easy way to do this right now)

Q: How to deal with Google questions

I've seen a lot of questions that can be answered with a simple Google search. For questions like this, an answer can be found by just cut'n'pasting the question directly into the Google search field and scanning the first few hits. Every new user wants to try out the feature and ask a question...
