since it seems to me like his question is 'how to select R random rows from N total rows without replacement', not 'how many ways can I select R random rows from N total rows without replacement'
@JohnMcDonald I think it's less an issue with chrome and more with the fiddle itself. I've changed that script tag to something I know works, and it's still ignored
I copied the javascript into the javascript box, and then it told me, "document.write is disallowed in JSFiddle envioriment and might break your fiddle." which could be another problem
So, instead of: moveForward(); yield 10;, it would be: moveForward(); return { next: function() { return 10; }} ? I don't think I'm thinking about this quite right
@John if you want to do it very similar to how the C# compiler for example creates the yield function
var state = 0;
var next = function() {
switch(state) {
case 0:
scanRight();
state=1;
return 3;
case 1:
if (scanResult == BOT) {
turnRight();
state=2;
return 10;
} else {
moveForward();
state = 3;
return 10;
}
case 2:
shoot();
state = 0; // end while loop
return 10;
case 3:
No matter how strong your gasoline engine is, it was never giving the engineers as much problems as the raw force of an electric motor tearing the frame open

It's funny, I'm in a class called 'Preparing for College and Careers' which is basically just a class where you get to research various careers and college oppurtunities. For a project we had to make a fake resume to show that we understand them. A lot of kids put 'excellent computing skills' on their resumes. I told them to take it off.
Also, the thing you said about MS office is absolutely 100% true. It's pathetic. I've written several emails to my school asking them to add a little bit of variety to the curriculum, but they just say 'no, no, run along, we know how to use computers, you don't.' Screw those people.
I had to make a resume for finnish language class in university (yes they still teach that there) and I did but the teacher said "this looks wrong" and told me to make new one. Never did.
aside from people not being able to use computers asking me to help them out, I especially hate those who are not able to use computers but still try to throw opinions and tell me what I should do
it's even worse when it's someone in the family lol
mum called me sometime ago saying the internet doesn't work and not all of the lights on the router are on
Yeep. I also dislike how my parents and friends think that I'm a computer wizard because I know how to program and that I can help them set up a router or something like that.
and I shouldn't consider it isn't my fault because I can't be perfect
I'm not sure how that works, but okay
I'll take a look the next time I get home
but I told her to just call someone from the ISP
in short
I hate it how everyone I know acts dumb when they have a problem, but when I proceed to give details on the problem or fix it, they jump in and act like IT masters
