I agree with giving Sarah the opportunity to tell Bobby herself, but I think the way your suggestion is currently worded is more of a threat than a gentle suggestion and may encourage Sarah to react poorly. My suggestion would be to instead say something more along the lines of "I think it'd be best if he heard it from you instead of me, so I wanted to give you time to talk to him about it yourself before I see him next" vs "I am going to tell him, you have X amount of time until then". — Jess K. 12 secs ago

Well, this line of action makes sure you loose your friendship with Sarah - and maybe with Bobby as well. We all say we value sincerity, but it's only about sincere compliments about us. When a friend of mine warned some common friend she was being cheated her reaction was going mad at him. It took a couple years to settle things down - after she broke up with the cheater - and I don't think the friendship will ever be the same that it was. — Rekesoft 1 min ago

Not an answer, but a note: People rarely cheat because their relationship is going poorly, or because they are tired of their partner. In many cases, they don't even know why they cheat.
