@J.Musser I'm only fluent in English, though I can speak Hebrew, slowly....I can get Aramaic (that's what the Talmud is written in, after all), and can understand Yiddish, though I can't speak back
@Sue I'll have to ask my sister what she knows about it (or my father, he's an ENT :P), but according to WP vertigo is a symptom. Did you ever get an Epley?
@Sue I see.
....my sister published a paper about a modified Epley procedure, a while back
@Shokhet Where is your dad an ENT? My dad was a vascular surgeon. My ENT (head of the department at Harvard Med and Beth Israel Boston doesn't think the Epley would work for me either.
@Shokhet Mt. Sinai's awesome. I saw a specialist there for my Meniere's years ago, but he said the best research is being done here. Wonder if it was your dad-don't remember his name. My dad grew up in NY. His dad was a chief administrator at BI there. His brother was a cardiologist. His other brother was a thoracic surgeon at BI Boston.
@J.Musser Do you know why this blue box disappears while I'm writing in it and the cursor jumps into the white space above it and I can't read my message?
Cool. I did find SE had better features on the desktop (Windows 8), would like to be able to use it. Dennis uses Firefox but I could always add Chrome. Yikes, it's late-I'd better go eat something. Thanks for keeping me company in two places and many languages.
@J.Musser Ooops, just tried to enter something again that didn't work. Guess I'll go and worry about it later! I like your priorities! My husband works 3pm - 2am which is why you find me here in the late afternoon-eve.
@J.Musser Oh-don't know who starred me. I just went to The Garden Shed and pressed on the text-entry box and didn't get that option to speak thing. It's a mystery!

@darthnesscoveredthesky It might take a while....SE community managers choose pro-tem (temporary) moderators, so it'll be whenever they make a choice.....it took a while on Worldbuilding (another beta site) for the mods to be chosen, so I think it's a good idea to just be patient.
@darthnesscoveredthesky Everyone is always welcome here, too.....but usually, a "welcome" comment is reserved for a user's first post, not for established users, usually
@darthnesscoveredthesky Really? Why would you welcome old users?
If you have multiple emails, you could have more than one account here also; I wouldn't, because that makes people think you're committing voting fraud
@Shokhet Sorry, but the answer is "duh". Would I be working 2 jobs and soon a third if I was a nurse at any level? :) No, I like pain, but that is to much. No offence meant.
@darthnesscoveredthesky somedays may be.. I like this site. I do not want this site to lose momentum . So I am spending some time here.. It will be very useful to world if it works as expected.
