@Joe me to, I was just kidding. But I think one "success" of our new site would be to have some easy way of navigating, i.e. if there are 1000 riddles and 1 puzzle a day, and I'm not interested in riddles, there should be a convenient way of not being washed away by the riddle-flood. Also: I think we should make it clear that the site is for English communication and that puzzles/riddles deviated from it may do so, but should declare it upfront. In particular riddles.

@Joe depends a bit on the system we are using. It would be nice to get a "clean" picture of things without having to "filter" upfront. Do you think some "major" categories with auto-collapsing new entries would be feasible ?

Some mechanism, that if I go to the site and since last login there where 100 riddles and 1 puzzle, I have a chance of seeing at a glance that a new puzzle has been added. (i.e. it is not lost in 100 riddles)

Maybe a "news-line" which indicates for each major tag which appeared since last login, how often it has appeared since last login?
