Q: Need advice on math enthusiasts forum

AnixxI am looking to find a forum in the Internet intended for math enthusiasts to discuss math ideas outside the question-answer format but at high level. Can anyone advise such sites?

On Stack Exchange, apart from Q&A site there are also chatrooms. You can look at some rooms associated with Mathematics: List of chatrooms. Of the rooms associated with MO only Homotopy Theory seems to be rather active. See also: Specialized chat rooms, You can also check out some of the links mentioned here: Useful mathematical fora. — Martin Sleziak yesterday

Q: List of chatrooms

Martin SleziakThis is a place where we could collect list of chat rooms associated with this site. There are several rooms which have potential to be useful if more users were aware of them or more users visited them. Collecting a list of such rooms here could increase their visibility. This was previously dis...

Q: Specialized chat rooms

Tobias KildetoftWould there be an interest in having more specialized chat rooms, like the one for homotopy theory that currently exists? So far, the homotopy theory one seems to be fairly successful, and it seems that other topics might also enjoy a chat room like it. Obviously, if such a chat room is to be u...

Q: Useful mathematical fora

Martin SleziakI want to ask about various mathematical fora and discussion boards available online. I think it might be useful to have such a list here at Math.SE. If I may suggest, it could be useful to keep one long list with basic information as a community wiki, and if you want add some additional informa...

I agree with Martin. Lots of suggestions at math.stackexchange.com/q/95787/442Gerald Edgar 19 hours ago
@GeraldEdgar chat rooms here are limited by time. In sci.math I found only garbage. Some other links lead to either low-populated sites or school help sites... — Anixx 5 hours ago
I am not sure what you mean by "chat rooms are limit by time". It is true that if a room is completely silent, it gets frozen after 14 days. (7 days if only a single user used the room.) However, if you talk in the room once a week, you can keep it indefinitely. Maybe you meant something else. Anyway, if needed we can discuss it further in chat - so that we do not digress too much from the original question. — Martin Sleziak 48 secs ago

This also reminded me of an older question here on Meta MathOverflow: Any other site besides mathoverflow and mathematics stackexchange?Martin Sleziak 19 secs ago

Q: Any other site besides mathoverflow and mathematics stackexchange?

Sergio ParreirasI know the differences between mathoverflow and math-stack but I have been wondering: Are there legitimate mathematical questions that would not get answered at math-stack because there is no expertise around and yet would be considered trivial (not research level worthy for mathoverflow?) I ag...

There was also this question on Mathematics Meta, which asked about other site: Is there an MSE-like site that is more pleasant to work in? Or are there other solutions? However, the focus of that question seems to be rather different.

Q: Is there an MSE-like site that is more pleasant to work in? Or are there other solutions?

André NicolasThe Problem: It becomes more difficult to help people on a site in which there is mass closing of questions. And I am disturbed that a small group of people is engaged in trying to delete permanently some of the questions I have answered. I interpret it as systematic deliberate erasure of my wor...

As a side note, I'd say that in several chatrooms here, the discussions are at quite high level.

Or if you check discussions of some specific users, for example, Mike Miller, Balarka Sen or Alessandro Codenotti (and many others).
