Of course it is for using a pre-existing brand. But it's honestly so extremely ignorant and downright offensive to people genuinely practicing either of those martial arts (and maybe Asian cultures in general by propagating an attitude of lumping them all together) that I wondered how they even remotely got away without any apparent backlash to this.

For a remake noone asked for, the new movie was surprisingly fine and Will Jr. was totally likeable, as was Jackie Chan as his teacher.

But why they even did kung fu? and why not karate?

In fact, with the new setting and different culture, it even added something new instead of just being a plain remake, while still being in the spirit of the original. I even think if they just had literally titled it Kung Fu Kid they could have both taken advantage of the association with the old movie while still emphasising that it's somewhat of a new take on it. This might have been an even more favourable marketing decision altogether.

But who am I to tell Hollywood how marketing works.

I'm sure it did well anyway.

But still a same valid question will be why they picked to do Kung Fu in remake while keeping teh old title

I go to leave to go home, and it hurt so much I almost passed out. get down to the first floor of the building, decide I can't walk to my car, call the wife

scared her, she thought I was having a heart attack, she picked me up and takes me to urgent care, get xrayed and they found nothing. at this point pain has become significantly more manageable. ekg (heart attack sanny thingie) came back clean as well. so, muscle relaxers and steroids

More and more households are moving to tankless, "hot water on demand" systems.

We ussualy have individual bathroom geeZer and few people just connect it kitchen taps with it but my house builder didn’t and it’s not even needed
