Carl has been wearing the same hat for 5 seasons now. Given that he's been at the age where much of a person is continually growing, why does this hat still fit him? Was it ever explained on the show that a new hat was found?

I remember seeing this movie on TV as a kid but I can't quite remember what the name was. But I do remember a couple of scenes:
One of the main characters who was a guy, falls into a pit and sees body bags full of bones
At the end of the movie, we see the killer standing behind the standing bod...
So, things change and nothing is protected by grandfathering.
What about when things change back? Does someone go through and reopen all the stuff that was closed because of a now outdated policy?
I personally think it is a little much to go and start closing questions which are 4+ years old just because you want current story-ident questions to meet a certain criteria.
@JackBNimble No one actively does but it's certainly something that could be done... that being said, usually rules change that make the rules more strict, not less, so you're more likely to find old questions getting closed when the rules change not reopened.
