Q: Who is filming the Pawnee Parks and Recreation department?

Lego StormtrooprIn the first season of Parks and Recreation the general theme of the cinematics of the show are similar to "The Office" in that an unseen documentary crew are filming the Parks department. However, as the show progresses the crew keeps filming... and filming everything, even from multiple angles...

@NapoleonWilson You're not staying up all hours of the night again are you? ;-(
@steelerfan Just a little, don't worry.
Hmmmm... Rokay :)
@NapoleonWilson You're not going to have baby bananas around when I am over there are you? You're not going to eat them in front of me are you? ;)
@steelerfan No, they will all be eaten by then, don't worry.
@NapoleonWilson Gheez. You're no fun. You're supposed to say "yeah, I will eat them whenever I want to. This is my house, if you don't like it, get the f**k out!" ;)
@steelerfan Awww, I'd never do that, I know you don't like 'em.
01:24
@NapoleonWilson Well, aren't you just the gentleman? If you really want to be entertained, you can always watch me try to eat one :P
My mom stopped by her house about an hour ago and called me and asked what in the hell we were doing last night because of the horrible smell. Oops. Hehehehe!
<sigh>. I really need to get my own place. I guess that I won't be giving any family members their own key. My husband would have got annoyed by that, but they all didn't used to live around here, either and I didn't have an extended family when he was alive. He would have lost his cool about that whole thing a long time ago. He would have just said "Get the f**k out!"
Yeah, I married a total hard ass :P

Q: Movie/TV Show where human asks anthropomorphic character if it symbolizes something

Joe MoranoI think it was TV, but it might be a movie. It was comedic but I think it was more surrealistic black comedy or comedy/drama. I think it's mainstream, American, and fairly recent, definitely after 2000. The way I remember it, a human and some anthropomorphic character (possibly some kind of anim...

Q: Why don't people commit burglary or vandalism during the Purge?

ThunderforgeThe message announcing the beginning of the Purge says the following: Commencing at the siren, any and all crime, up to, and including murder, will be legal for 12 continuous hours. 07:46
@steelerfan Ah you rejected that edit and I approved it.
@AbhishekAggrawal I just didn't think that the edit improved it at all. I just realized that it was one of Napoleons...I didn't even notice when I rejected the edit ;)
The edit was superfluous, imo.
@steelerfan I didn't notice that it was Napoleon's. If I did, I'd have also rejected it.
He improves others' posts, so his posts don't need to be improved. It's like correcting something in Oxford's dictionary.
@AbhishekAggrawal well, if you guys thought that the edit was justified, that's okay. The edits that that guy was suggesting just didn't improve or help anything. I thought that it was fine as is :)
That user removed (if such acoustical things can actually be adressed there).
I also don't understand why a post from 3 years ago needs to have those types of edits, but to each his own.
07:51
He's been suggesting edits for a while. Today I approved/rejected his four edits.
I have approved some of them as well...just not this one ;)
It must be some kind of sign that I rejected that one not even realizing that it was Napoleon's when I did it :P
ok
@steelerfan If anything, we can always rollback to previous version. After all, we have privileges for that.
The edit also changes the meaning of the title. He never asked if the guy had an odd voice...he just wanted to know why he spoke with "such" a voice. He never called it odd.
Well, when @NapoleonWilson comes, he can check the edit and keep as it is or rollback.
@AbhishekAggrawal Er, I have no clue how to do that. I'm sure that he can roll it back if he wants to when he comes around :)
07:56
Look at this
In the version 1, there is link to rollback. You can click it and roll it back to that version.
Also, he said "fixed grammar and clarified" Hmmm...not really. The grammar looked fine to me and it really didn't clarify anything.
@AbhishekAggrawal Er, I don't know. I don't want to mess with any of his stuff. He can roll it back if he wants to. No big deal :)
@steelerfan That's for accidentally approving a bad edit. It can be used in such case.
@AbhishekAggrawal Yeah, but will that start a "rollback war?"
Nice question @NapoleonWilson.
@steelerfan No no.
It's just for correcting mistake.
Nothing biggie.
@AbhishekAggrawal Okay. Done :)
08:07

A: Why does Christian Bale change his voice when playing Batman

Napoleon WilsonWell, most people often forget how easy it is to recognize somebody by voice and Bruce Wayne is kind of a celebrity. So changing his voice is a natural consequence of Nolan's making Batman more realistic. Of course Superman can't be Clark Kent, as he's obviously missing the characteristic glasses...

^^
Napoleon answered with a smiley at the end...
Very peculiar :P
08:13
One of his great answers on my question.

A: Why don't the Bond girls return in subsequent movies?

Napoleon WilsonBecause they're supposed to be "forgettable" and the films don't share much of a continuity to begin with. First of all, James Bond is himself not much of a character for lasting relationships. The women, or "Bond girls", he comes across during his adventures are usually more "part of the advent...

@AbhishekAggrawal If it's one thing that Napoleon knows...it's being a spy with a revolving door of women at your disposal ;)
I already upvoted that question and answer.
The only problem I have with Man of Steel is that Superman just uses glasses to disguise himself.
@steelerfan I didn't expect it to be that long answer. Well, it's great.
hasn't he always just used glasses to disguise himself?
@steelerfan Yes, he did.
@AbhishekAggrawal Sure! Napoleon is great at everything that he does :)
If you want long answers, look at Swans answers. Also, Thaddeus just answered a Dr. Strange thing over here a few hours ago.
08:21
He answered only three questions besides being a member for 5 years.
@steelerfan That's why his answer is the highest voted answer on M&TV.
@AbhishekAggrawal Swan?
@steelerfan Thaddeus
@AbhishekAggrawal He is a sci-fi person. I'm surprised that he has answered any over here. I know that he is into certain superhero stuff, but that's all I know. He's a mod over on sci-fi.
Yeah. I saw that.
He usually writes books long answers ;)
I just realized that Thaddeus profile is talking in the 3rd person :P
08:29
I already read his profile.
User who writes/reads books tend to write long answers.
I have read some of his stuff on Medium Daily Digest. Some of it is good. Most of it is too political for me.
@AbhishekAggrawal Yes. He was quite proud of that fact. Hehe!
He had to let us all know that he brought new users over here with his awesome answers :P

A: Who is the Lady of the Wood, and what's her relationship to the rest of the elves?

System DownThe elves in the woods were the elves of Lothlorien, ruled by Celeborn and Galadriel (also known as the Lady of the Wood). Legolas on the other hand is a prince of Mirkwood, a completely different forest realm. So it's not that surprising that Legolas doesn't know anyone there. -- More informat...

Why was this edit approved? ^^
It totally changed the answer!
Hmmmm...
I guess it didn't totally change it, but the suggesting editor could have answered the question himself with that long ass addition. I don't know.
09:01
@steelerfan Yes he could. It should have been added as a new answer.
That's why I rejected it.
@AbhishekAggrawal Yeah, I saw that you rejected it. I'm glad that someone did. I thought I was going crazy for a minute ;)
Now I'm tempted to roll that one back as well... ;)
@steelerfan You can do that too. You got a Cleanup badge for previous rollback.
@AbhishekAggrawal Nah. I don't like doing that kind of stuff a lot. I certainly don't want to get into any rollback/edit wars with anyone. I try to avoid conflict at all costs ;)
I have seen edit wars result into rage quitting and all out meltdowns. Ugh.

@AbhishekAggrawal Um, no. Just because Napoleon makes a lot of edits to other people's posts, that doesn't mean he's God, or that he's incapable of making mistakes himself.
(And I'm sure he would have said the same himself.)
In the post you and @steelerfan were discussing, I can see at least one spelling error, some weird and unnecessary italicisation, and a couple of other things which sound odd (at least to a native speaker).
But I'll go and make new edits myself rather than explicitly rolling back to Revision 2.
There, fixed.
11:35
@Randal'Thor Oh, God. This is exactly why I didn't want to get involved in it at all :(
@steelerfan No worries. It's all fixed now.

rand al'thorLook no further than a show about time travel! Technically Doctor Who is a television series and not movies, but you did mention TV shows in the question body, so this should count as an answer. There are many examples scattered throughout the show, but the first that comes to mind involves Rive...

@Randal'Thor I don't see why not :)

Jan-Christoph Schlage-PuchtaI am looking for the name of a film I saw around 2005, and probably appeared not much earlier. The main character is a (possibly scandinavian) girl. @AbhishekAggrawal Why?
@AbhishekAggrawal That's just a wrong deduction.
@steelerfan Unsurprisingly. ;-)
@steelerfan Rolled back already.
Gheez, I largely stopped post-reviewing every suggested edit that went through the queue and was handled by others. Maybe I should restart doing that.
@steelerfan Why? You did the right thing rolling back that edit.

2 hours later…
15:36
@NapoleonWilson But I must agree that posts are more clear and better after your edit. ;-)
@NapoleonWilson Perhaps a comment must be left for that user asking to add this kind of edit as an answer or leave a comment under the author's post
@AbhishekAggrawal Maybe.
@NapoleonWilson His edit was good enough to serve as a separate answer.
Perhaps I should have left a custom reject message during review.
I did this a few times on SO.
Please don't say maybe this time. ;D
Now it's a matter of time when @Walt reaches 100K mark.
@AnkitSharma A Rajasthani song dedicated to Modi's surgical strike on Pak and notes is getting quite popular nowadays.
In general, it's roughly defined as effort. Can you possibly provide any other details about the film that could help? Any descriptions of scenes or characters? Any other story details? Anything more than just a rough tagline? I'm sure you remember much more about the film. Everything is relevant. For more information on how to ask a proper identification question, you can also consult the help center as well as the cprresponding tag wiki. — Napoleon Wilson ♦ Nov 7 at 19:51

@NapoleonWilson What? I'm so frigging confused right now ;-(
@NapoleonWilson cprresponding corresponding.
@steelerfan Why? I thought it was clear you did the right thing there.
@AbhishekAggrawal I'm sorry, I'm just busy right now. I haven't really read that pseudo-answer, let alone considered the question to throughly.
@steelerfan Don't worry. This would not start a "rollback war" since it's Napoleon's post.
@NapoleonWilson Yeah, by you. Rand didn't think so.
@NapoleonWilson OK. No problem
15:55
@steelerfan Well, his edit made much more sense. It didn't downright remove important aspects of the post, nor change wording that didn't need to be changed.
Alright, then.
@AbhishekAggrawal That's the one reason that would start a rollback war ;)
@steelerfan oh
Rand could come back and roll it back if he was a jerk...and he's the furthest thing from a jerk, so, I am sure that it's good.
I'm outta here. See you guys.
@steelerfan I doubt he would anyway, since he has already edited the versio nthat you rolled back. So all is solved already.
@steelerfan Have fun! Sorry I didn't call you. I tried about 6 PST and only got the voicemail. And after that I admittedly forgot since I had quite some things to do.
