I've searched the meta but can't find any related question. I see a user who systematically edits almost all questions that he answers, adding useless tags. Occasionally he edits the question in a useful way (formatting/spelling) but still, the tags are added, too. Is this accepted behaviour?

I have created a partitioned view for 3 tables tb_sales2010,tb_sales2011,tb_sales2012 using check constraint
(respectivly for each table)

@gunr2171 This is a script I did some years ago that will reverse engineer a fair amount of a database schema. You might be able to adapt the queries to do what you want, although it is by no means comprehensive.
If you want the text of stored procedures or user-defined functions you can get that from sys.sql_modules fairly trivially.

The reason I'm asking is because I've already read SQL Server 2008 Query Performance Tuning Distilled (which Brent considers "advanced") so I feel like the actual levels aren't accurate.

Sorry to interject - I was going to post a question to dba.se but I'm not sure if it has been answered. I have a function on my SQL Server that is being repetitively ran (it has ran 70,000+ times over the past 7 days). I'd like to find out what is calling the function. How can I do that? Or should I write it up as a question?
