i've just been thinking and looking around and will probably make a meta question on the topic of whether we should try to answer in the same language the question was asked

@hippietrail When I started answering, I thought answers should always be given in English; then I decided I would use Spanish since, after all, this is a Spanish site; now I am reconsidering this decision and thinking that answers should be given, if possible, in the same language as the questions.
