would you find country-aware questions useful?
for example, you might be interested only on castillian spanish or maybe the spanish used in argentina

Q: How is the letter 's' pronounced in Spain?

RichardI've heard varying things regarding the pronunciation of the letter 's' in Spain. However, no one was willing/able to explain this to me. How is the letter 's' pronounced in Spain compared to its usage in, say, Mexico?

Like that one?

Q: What are the main differences between Spanish in Spain and Spanish in Latin America?

Juan ManuelA good analogy is that the difference is like those in British and American English, but what are those differences exactly? Is Spanish in Latin America a branch from that in Spain?

or that one?
@Serabe I think they're totally on topic and very useful!

yep, but in a tag based one
for example, I live in Madrid, Spain, and I think my answers would be more useful if the person is interested in castillian, not mexican, that sounds quite strange to me (and i to them)
@Richard can you elaborate on "thumbed his nose at them"? Maybe an example or something. I get the meaning, but a full context would help with the translation.
@Richard sorry, just saw you edited it, not asked.
