Hey, I'm an older user who hasn't been active in a while wondering if anyone knows what happened to an old user/moderator called Slorany?

@VogonPoet That insight about the aerodynamics tag is a good one. There is a difference between aerodynamics and flight - but I can also see that a good 95% of questions about aerodynamics would be about flight. Correcting the issue would require a Meta post pitching the idea and including a proposed roll-over summary and tag wiki.

@Pleiades Are you sure of the spelling of that user's name? I've been trying variations in the user list and can't find it and I don't recognize it (I've been a regular user since July 2017).

Yeah, Secespitus was never a mod here, but very active on meta and a semi-prolific editor, if I remember correctly.

The overlap between aerodynamics and flight is far too small to link these categories as synonyms. Only a small subset of things which fly (in fictional worlds) rely on a subset of aerodynamic principles (lift and drag). I think it’s pretty clear that racing haulers across the arctic tundra, rac...
