We're getting more "send me the schematics for my fantasy idea" questions than ever. Is it worth posting a Meta question about it? I can see where asking about the UI, functional operation, consequences of use, all would be worldbuilding. But I'm having trouble believing that asking for the innovative details is. Worse, it appears to be popular with people who aren't educated well enough to judge a best (or even a good) answer. Is this a hopless shift in the use of the Stack?
I might have a bias but its always worth posting meta questions ;)
and yeah, its essentially the equivilent of a low effort question elsewhere

glad things are thawed out here, was ruminating on the "Puritans try to interpret modern clothing" quesiton (worldbuilding.stackexchange.com/questions/105289/…) and had a riff on it I wanted to do -- how would they interpret modern construction hi-viz/PPE? (hard hat, ANSI reflective vest, impact safety glasses, and steel-toed boots over a basic casual T-shirt-and-jeans setup)
is that something that'd be a good mainsite Q as-is or do you think I need to take it to the workshop?
Hopefully that's not a start of a new trend of "How do puritans react to X?"
