Would the addition of water be of any use in a micro-detonation turbine engine?

So, when I try to search for detonation engines, rotating pulsed detonations (https://youtu.be/fRMMSyCcTDI) and pulse-jets (https://youtu.be/1aUpkEscThY) always appear as the first results on google.
But let's just say that these engines are a bit too extreme (and in the case of pulse-jet, not that efficient).
