I'm going to step back from SE for a while. Not because I disagree with their changes (at least, as I think they intend their changes to be, even if their wording is a little vague), but because I don't want to be involved in digital bar brawls. I have to say, after the joke nazis showed up yesterday it gave be a bad taste in my mouth. I do understand what they were trying to say, and to a point I do sympathize, but the condescending lack of maturity that was displayed is something that is pushing my libertarian button pretty hard. I'm going to give SE a break for a week and give the BS that is spraying everywhere a chance to settle, and so I don't let my frustration get the better of me.

@NexTerren I've seen that one before with the missing feedback from the staff even after being asked to provide a reason for removing that question. But the amount of comments there really exploded.
I am also fascinated by the fact that we have a timeline, divided by sites and with visual indicators for "official" and "score over 200" so that people can actually parse the whole story who come to Meta now.
So, the new CoC is out and guess I'll die and remove myself from the problem.
Now, real talk. What are we going to do? Migrating to Diaspora or Reddit isn't an option since fundamental differences in how sites work. Though it most likely won't be necessary.
