oh god, they're evolving
02:12
That is one giant penis that worm has
02:39
@dot_Sp0T, hey, I let the game run all day. It's massive. Truly gigantic.

1 hour later…
03:49
And we launched a satelite. That is a crazy long game.

@Green soooo I need to log on?

4 hours later…

@dot_Sp0T No, I shut down the server 8 hours ago. I can give you the save game file though.

Can anyone tell me why people are obsessed with me calling it a booze-rat? I could've called it Nutmeg-Nougat-Car-Crush-Insurance and it wouldn't change a thing about the proposed physiology or how it had to evolve...
15:53
Because they don't know just how stupid we are about naming things
Also that guy seems to think that the "scientific name" that were all sorta just made up within the last hundred or so years for some reason is the name that people should call things and is their "real" name
Also not important... I'm making a map of Krypton...
16:24
What scale?
16:49
right now, 1024x512, but i'm gonna make it a 2000x1000px map
I don't know what the actual size is krypton is, if it's ever even given anywhere

@Durakken sounds fun :)
My ICS vs Steam Engines question seems to be taking off, do you think it is already time for me to introduce my Aircraft Carriers to the site?
@dot_Sp0T you could say that aircraft carriers are steam powered already -- just with a much better heat source than anything Watt could have dreamed of ;)
19:30
I've been thinking it might be fun to write a full history of Krypton, but I'm not sure I want to do the research.
Also I got to figure out how to do a height map fo this map since I can't use my normal way boo
19:43
@Durakken just make a second map with grayscale heights?
@Shalvenay ah no no no young padawan. The questions would mostly be about finding means to balance them in-flight - as deploying and taking on dozens of double-decker-fighters will have influence on buoyancy
Well no, There are rivers and known mountain ranges so i have to account for that and it doesn't really follow what it should be because I'm pretty sure the map makers just threw the map together willy nilly
@dot_Sp0T oh :P
@Durakken don't see why a simple heightmap can't work?
It's not that a height map won't work. It's that making the height map is complicated lol
I'll probably just make a layer with where it is showed to I think lower on the original map and then use a cloud render and hope noone cares to check that the rivers don't flow right
