@AndyD273 I think it's like the difference between "lead" (to direct, guide), and "lead" (the metal), but instead of being phonetic, it's explicitly written. Leading someone and the material lead are very different so the difference is big from the perspective of meaning and pronunciation. From the spelling "lead" and "lead" have no difference, and "e" and "é" have little difference, but the end result can be huge.
@Green Awww...that was fun. I've been wondering what else we could do that would be less time intensive that would be entertaining. The concept was fun too...not to mention the potential swag.
I don't think we had any problems with creating content. We on WB. Creating worlds is what we do. But, we all suck at marketing and building an audience.
@Green What would you think about tying that into monkey lords. Just as a brand umbrella? Its yours and yours alone obviously but it would be kinda neat to create a network of products/entertainment that could sort of feed off of each other.
@23fc9a62-56de-47fb-97b4-737890 There have been entertaining moments at the table...it would be easy enough to do something like that.
@Green It would need to be story and characters, my are skills are...meh.
@HDE226868 Simulating a stock and options market for up to five stocks and six market participants. It's to make sure that my game is balanced and does what I want.
No simulation can test if it's fun though. That involves real world testing with live people.
A stock option is a contract that gives the buyer the right but not obligation to buy/sell a given stock within the next XX months once the stock goes above/below a certain price. This definition holds true in the game too.
@AndyD273 If HDE has time, I'd like to get them involved too. Someone who has never used or talked about options would be a valuable asset to make sure the concepts are clearly explained and approachable.
Sounds good. My only real experience with options was in playing Sim Farm, where you tried real hard to get some good prices on options for your crops, instead of waiting to sell after you harvest.
I'm currently on summer vacation and don't quite have to worry about work at the moment. I've earned some money doing hours of yard work for neighbours, but that's about it.
Gardening can be a surprising amount of work, though.
If I walk out until I start to give things up, then walking back makes me tired enough to completely release. If I head back too soon, they can re-grow.
I mean like the 30 seconds of swimming to the bottom of a pool. It's not comparable to drowning, but it seems weird from a safety perspective to like it, but then again, lots of things humans like to do aren't exactly safe.
I used to have a giant field next to my house. Loved to jump one the fence. Long grass that had grass seed, some beautiful wild flowers and dandelion heights that were almost unbelievable.
If they charge, you aren't likely to survive, so you want to convince them to not charge (look big, but back off before you push them too far is a good idea).
Wolves generally plod along wearing their prey down until it is exhausted and then kill it. They aren't like big cats that use power to take prey down.
"During chase and confrontation wolves test their prey. Wolves attack only about 1 out of every ten moose that they chase down. They kill 8 or 9 of every ten moose that they decide to attack. The decision to attack or not is a vicious tension between intense hunger and wanting not to be killed by your food."

I feel like you're going to encounter a lot of envious people on this site. Cougar sightings are not common. Snuggling one is almost unheard of. — ShemSegerSep 19 '18 at 16:43
