@Jolenealaska If you'd say something nice about my (forced no yeast=) bread, I can die and go to heaven feeling like a super-complete frood!

It is quite beautiful!

Aaah. This makes me happy. I wish I could share a slice with all the toppings and the fixins.

Nice picture too.
I've been looking at old cooking experiments of mine on the site for ones that could use a redo. Almost all are baking. I don't want to end my isolation 50 pounds heavier :/

@Jolenealaska I'm doing my part =)

:)
I can't imagine what this would be like without internet.

12:44 AM
=) Yeah, me too. Nice to talk to you again Jolene.

You too! I'm glad that you're on the other side.
I will probably need to maintain distance until I'm vaccinated.

That sounds a healthy position. My mother is in the nono category of ever catching it.

Until we're over the hump, I will not go to the hospital. I would rather die alone than be on a ventilator when somebody else needs it. That's a nightmare I cannot imagine.
So I'm being quite careful.

@Jolenealaska Careful is the playbook we need. That's also why it is useful and valuable to have a community like this.

Our healthcare workers should get veterans benefits after all this.
Although free healthcare for life probably isn't terribly attractive to them.

@Jolenealaska You are as worthy of being saved as everybody else!

@rumtscho Of course I am, it's not about worth. That situation would just break me.
I would obsess about it every day for the rest of my life.

7 hours later…
5:20 PM
Why should someone else get a ventilator but not you?

I think that's a personal choice that everyone needs to make for their own selves in terms of what they're okay with, honestly.

6:12 PM
Oh, this is such a difficult topic. I work in the automobile industry, in the context of autonomous driving. And I am glad that I am not involved in the details of the decision making.

user15026
nods I can imagine so.

Of course, it’s neural networks and algorithms. But they get written by humans. And there are enough examples of how they get influenced.

@Cerberus Just thought of you - maybe you know the song?
