6:53 AM
I thought that was a doughnut at first glance

9 hours later…
3:41 PM
That's my attempt at the Vietnamese Coconut Sauce. It's yummy! I think the sauce is probably about right. It needs more mushrooms and the zucchini should have been added at the very end...but...YUM!

3 hours later…
6:20 PM
Shame about the sea insects eh?

6:48 PM
In parts of the country that frequently see crawdads, they are known as mud-bugs.

They pretty much are. They're all arthropods
If you eat that, you should have no problem with locusts

7:05 PM
Hmm...Given a plate of expertly prepared locusts, I'd give it a shot.

Doubtless
If you'll eat shrimp, you'll eat anything!
Well, that's interesting
Apparently the Scandinavian troll myth is possibly based on folk memories of Neanderthals

7:24 PM
Hmmm...Long cultural memory.

About 20,000 years
But there are clearer examples of similar timescales
Many Indian tribes have folk memories of wooly mammoths
Though having said that, there were still mammoths around in Northern Eurasia when the pyramids were being built

7:46 PM
That's an interesting factoid!

7:58 PM
No, it's a fact. A factoid is a fact that sounds true but isn't.

A quick Google says both usages are correct.

A quick Google is wrong
:P
Here's another: Cleopatra reigned closer in time to the moon landings than the building of the pyramids
If you placed a quarter on the first square of a chess board, 2 quarters on the second square, 4 on the next and so on, by the time you get to the last square you will have a pile of coins 4 times as high as the distance from earth to the sun
The average human has slightly less than two legs

I've heard that one. Cleopatra 69-30BCE /Pyramids earliest ~2630BCE/Apollo11 1969
Well, the last one is silly.

But true
;)

Goofball :) I need to run, TTYL!

2 hours later…
10:12 PM
@Noach mi Frankfurt Here's one that looks informative:

1 hour later…
11:13 PM
Hello.

11:24 PM
Hey Cerby. Whazzup?

Sup!
I've just returned from a birthday party.
With lots of old people.
Except the three of us.
How is your...what is it, afternoon?

Yep, it's 330pm. I'm just about to make a loaf of bread. My first potato bread, how exciting. I need to clean my kitchen first, so I'm procrastinating.

11:55 PM
Haha.
I'm sure it will be delicious!
I've never made potato bread.

I have the most ridiculous quandary.
I'd ask on the main site if it weren't so ridiculous.
My potato is huge.
I'll only need less than half of it (boiled and mashed) for the bread.
I don't much care for mashed potatoes.
A baked potato sounds good right about now.
