My question, Word (or shorter phrase for) "evaluate the relationship between"?, was closed as "off topic" for this site. I think that it is a good question - it has five upvotes and seven answers - that would be on-topic at writers.stackexchange as a properly scoped and framed critique ...
@RegDwightAAA - I don't remember the ping, but I could have missed it, I suppose. Looking right now.
Thanks for the heads-up, this is an interesting issue.
@KitFox @justkt @standback @anybory else here - What do you guys think of this? The question is confusingly written, but it's, in essence, asking about writing a headline. Does this fall under our policy of requests to rewrite a few sentences?
It seems to fall afoul of most of the problems with these kinds of questions, but it'd be nice to find a way to edit it so it makes sense for the site. Headline writing is kind of an art of its own, but one that's hard to describe or delineate.
@RegDwightАΑA - I'm going to say, tentatively, thanks but no thanks. I suspect this isn't a good question for writers, but I'd also like it for us to discuss the issue.
@standback - I like how you left the OP a possible way to reframe this so it could be asked, even though it'd be an almost entirely different question.
@Standback now now. Only ELU closes all its questions. You are just copycats. But hey, perhaps we can team up. Rather than closing everything, we'll just migrate everything to you. That way we get to close all questions and you get to close them all some more. A win-win.
