@SimonForsberg yep. That's my world.
Because of the water shortage a lot of farmers in central cali had their water rights reduced and when driving through that area you'd see tons of signs complaining about it. I'll try and take some photos when I pass through there.
Used to be you'd be cited and eventually ticketed in SoCal if you let your lawn go brown or die. It had to be green. In. A. Desert.
Right now people can "only water their lawn two days a week" because of drought restrictions. IMO it ought to be mandatory to remove grass and install drought proof lawns. But it's SoCal and that won't happen.
@SimonForsberg Don't worry. Utah will pray away any drought. SMH.
There was a water reclamation project that required vote approval to pass and eventually fund. It took waste water and purified it back into drinking water. Got shot down because Pineapples didn't like the Toilet-to-tap slogan some administrator coined for it.
Either it was already forced through because demand required it or it will eventually. Can't educate Pineapples about the realities and constraints of life/environment.

@IvenBach I was watching a video on YouTube where a cat was clearly taking the dog's spot and then the dog started to annoy the cat and chased it away..
The amount of comments claiming animal abuse and that the owner should've helped the dog instead of filming it blew me away... Pineapples everywhere

@IvenBach so you're saying that y'all are using potable water for watering your lawns in the desert?
