hey @bazola
Btw, I'm still interested in making some tool for HearthStone that shows the best action, purely out of interest, not necessarily an AI though as I don't want to add strategies yet
There's so much I still need to do though, probably won't do it for a while
Hmm, though "best action" depends on what you want to minimize or maximize as well
when are you going to settle down and make an indie game @skiwi
You make that sound easy ^^
19:57
depending on the scope, it can be easy :)

i started playing around with an agar.io type of game today. I've got an idea where instead of just one orb or snake, you control a small army of people. javascript is painful to write for me though
I wouldn't recommend Javascript ^^
(In general) If you want to stay sane
I'm trying out node.js, but i just wish that i had regular classes and code organization

Still playing HS lately @bazola?
I just did something stupid and attempted to kill a Grim Patron with Mad Bomber in Arena :/
@skiwi yeah i played a few games this week, first time i logged in this month. gotta get to rank 20 at least
beast druid is a fun deck to play with
Somehow all 3 Mad Bombers in this arena draft keep screwing me over
I normally only log in for Tavern Brawls, but I don't like the ones where you need to make your own deck, such as from last weekend
i am still playing a lot of clash royale, but the card level grind is still horrible. i play because its fun gameplay, but its like 20x more expensive than hearthstone if you want all the cards and want them to be at a competitive upgrade level
That's pretty expensive :/
its truly insane
20:41
I myself have been playing mostly F1 2015 lately :P
Or making progress on the WPF application
i don't know if you have ever played games where the cards "evolve" and "level up" but there is nothing good about that approach whatsoever
Sounds theoretically like a good thing, but I don't have a clue how you'd balance that
Watching a friend right now in ranked and rank 20 seems to be a difficult place already
well, they don't balance it at all. if you pay more money, you get lots more cards, and you need LOTS of cards to upgrade card levels. Over 1000 cards for the highest levels. On top of that, you need to pay gold to upgrade cards, as much as say 40000 for the high levels. Which would be about 25 dollars just for the 40k gold
It's like you sacrifice one card to upgrade another one?
no, you just need to collect hundreds or thousands of each card
theres only like 50 different cards, and each one is similar to a unit or building in a traditional RTS
20:56
Oh wow, that's really odd
I could imagine some sort of system where experience carried over between matches
that would be cool. it would reward people that play more though which would lead to more imbalance. but at least it would be earned instead of paid for
If the game is going that direction either way then it may be best to do it as reasonable as possible
lol
the company that makes clash royale is literally the biggest and most profitable in the mobile industry, though, so its not like they are looking for advice :)
