@Cerberus I also made the profile after I read about their functions, especially an article which explained a slight mathematical problem with their match percentage algorithm. I thought, "If this is the biggest problem their algorithm has, it must be good". And it turned out to be good indeed.
@rumtscho I have dated on some other website, long ago. Not that anything ever ensued, not even a kiss. But the problem for me is that not seeing someone for real makes it much, much less useful.
@rumtscho Yeah? You have met some interesting people?
I don't really get the whole social network thing. I am on facebook only to see what some people are up to because they given up on actually interacting with real people.
@Cerberus Yes, sure. Three in person, and found interesting looking people (and messaged with them) who are for some reason not the ones I would want to date.
I use FB to easily contact people whose e-mail and/or phone number I don't have, like old class mates. And I occasionally post something if I want the world to know it. And it is great for looking up people I'm gossiping about, like my friend's new date.
I am actually dating 4 people, and among them, the one whom I met offline is not well suited - I would have broken up with him even if I didn't have better options.
@Cerberus There are people like that where they totally blew themselves up to be gods or at least made you imagine they were gods and then you meet up and its bleh
But for the distance, I won't repeat the Lausanne experience, and wanted to make it clear for the guys. So I made a graph which I uploaded to the profile pics.
Even after I made the graph, I had 2-3 people write me stuff like "I checked, the flight Frankfurt-Helsinki only needs 2 hours". And they were serious about wanting to date me.
I don't say you are immature because you make dirty jokes, I say it because you seem to live the life of a college boy, with the interests and behavior which goes with it. Nothing wrong about it, it is just not a life I want to share (any more)
@tastefive I would rather use bread flour but all I have right now is AP. I've even temporarily run out of wheat! It's painful but still better than store bought bread.
When you cook with wine or spirits, when does the alcohol cook away? Obviously high temperatures will do it, but how low of temperatures will work? Also, does it vary by the type of alcohol?
