6 days and no talk, sheesh! So what is everyone doing today? I just repaired a TDK Lambda PSU, 24V@120W. Had a blown fuse, shorted input MOSFET (2SK variant), and all bad elects. Had to disassemble half of the board to access the other components. Subbed a 470uF/450V in place of the 270uF/420V bus cap, which measured as 4nF. Was SO tight, a 0.1mm diameter increase would have been impossible. Thanks TDK, for providing a little extra room around your bus cap. :)
@rdtsc . . I was also getting ready to mention the 6 days. But, have been disassembling an automobile audio system (dead) to remove the 6 CD's trapped within.
Oh gosh Marla, that sounds like an adventure! Is it a real Pandora's box, or is there hope for the CD's yet? Imagine they are stored in some kind of caddy; lets hope the manufacturer envisioned them needing to be removed via technician and you won't end up powering the eject motor manually. :)
