@W5VO think of a handheld LCR meter (autoranging, but not much more sophisticated than that)

@tellzeitgott No, you don't fake it till you make it. You make it. You do the work and work hard, lose sleep and make it.
@ScientistSmithYT Thanks, way better than the old one I though

@ScottSeidman , do you know if the 60601 particular standard for ECG require a self-test circuit? I've read the -2-27 yesterday, but didn't see anything about self-test. I'm in the process of reading the -2-25.

7:00 PM
I still have some Westvleteren in my basement for @kortuk, where is this guy these days?

7:29 PM
@NickAlexeev I don't really know -- I don't see anything about it in the TOC of -2-25, which is where it should probably be. The FDA ecg guidance doc is fda.gov/regulatory-information/search-fda-guidance-documents/…
One thing to be very careful of is the firmware, though. I can't imagine a special ECG requirement for self-test -- as a plain old vanilla analog ecg wouldn't have one. You need to meed all the hardware and firmware guidances.
IEC 62304 might be the relevant document -- sunstonepilot.com/2018/09/… -- I would think self-testing comes into the risk-management process.
oops, I mean software and firmware. Interestingly, I know people who recommend skewing toward FPGA's over microcontrollers, because the standard is black box testing instead of white box.

hello respected fellows, come on I don't want to spam this chat for no reason. I am stuck at this problem please help
the problem is with op-amp of finite gain, infinite input resistance, and finite output resistance. tried all the tools I got and still zero success.

9:27 PM
simplifying the circuit it turns out to be a circuit with an independent voltage source with dependent Voltage source.
so im stuck in finding the transfer characteristic.

9:57 PM
@jippie He can be anywhere. @Kortuk went as far as Perm region in Russia once.

10:27 PM
@jippie You can send it to me and I'll take care of it.
